With gold teeth, tattoos, and a thick Down-south accent, New Orleans native Pearson stands out in his Watts neighborhood. But not just for his Chevy-Impala but also because of the 10-year-old ballerina he's raising as a single father. But when he finds his life unraveling at the very same time he promises to get his daughter into a top dance academy, he starts to experience unexpected bouts of paranoia related to his wife's mysterious death. Will he keep his head above water? Or will he drown in his grief, literally?
